curl_init() error help

im getting this error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: curl_init() in /web/sites/61/sutty/www.sutty.f2s.com/http_navigator/classes/CURL_Session.php on line 56

my web site is hosted with freedom2surf, how could i get this function to be recognised?

sounds like the curl library isn't installed. Do you have access to php.ini? If so, make sure the curl library is loaded under the extension listing.

Also, if it happens to be windows based hosting, there are some additional steps you must do to get curl working. (have to copy some files to the system32 dir)

i dont have access to that mate, as i say its hosted on a web sever that i just upload my files to, is there any way i can get this to work?

well, I use Hostway for a provider, and I have access to php.ini....it's just stored in my cgi-bin directory. Then again, it's on a linux machine.

Maybe try contacting your hosting provider and see what they say?
