joys of... pst and outlook.

i have a shafted pst file. its 1 gb. neither of the microsoft repair tools work, because its actually not completely corrupt. I know this because i can open it from outlook. - when i do this, i only get a 'contacts' folder, and none of the mail items in that pst are shown at all. in fact, outlook even says its only 125kb big, which is just a litttttle incy bit to small.

ideas?

If scanpst doesn't work and you don't have a backup, you may be out of luck.
