I have a MySQL table that stores the daily interest rate every day. The entries are as follows:
2003-04-27 3.750
2003-04-28 3.750
2003-04-29 3.750
2003-04-30 3.750
2003-05-01 5.000
2003-05-02 5.000
2003-05-05 5.000
2003-05-16 4.000
2003-05-27 3.750
I've now been informed that I need to graph this, and I'm having trouble with a query. What I need the query to do is select only the entries that change from the previous. So, in the above example I would select
2003-04-30 3.750
2003-05-05 5.000
2003-05-16 4.000
2003-05-27 3.750
Does that make sense? Once I retrieve the information, I should have no problem graphing it. Can this be done in a query?
