Ok. I'm trying to display the following info.
--A user's Ips -like earthlink.net, aol.com, etc... --A user's operating system -Windows XP, Os2/warp, linux, etc... --A user's browser -Msie 6, Opera, Mozilla, etc...
How can I do this?
Thanks, Hobbit

Thanks. Is there a way to get just "earthlink.net" from
$hostname = gethostbyaddr($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']);
Which yeilds something like, pcp438325pcs.langlesus02.ca.earthlink.net.
try a cunning mixture of [man]substr[/man] and [man]strpos[/man] and [man]substr_count[/man].

I've figured it out! Anyone who needs to find the host of an Ip, try this,
$host = explode('.', gethostbyaddr($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'])); $host = $host[count($host) - 2].'.'.$host[count($host) - 1]; echo "$host";
