Help with Webalizer

Hi,

I'm having some trouble with Webalizer. My web host, who does not do reverse IP lookup, uses Webalizer to provide stats (i.e. I did not compile anything). According to the FAQ, Webalizer 2.01 can support DNS lookup. I have tried to change weblizer.conf according the DNS.README to have two lines:

DNSCache /var/lib/webalizer/web/dns_cache.db
DNSChildren 5

However, this doesn't seem to work. In fact, I don't see a cache file being made in the directory I specific. What am I missing? I thought one possibility is that my host did not enable DNS. Is there anyway to find out (besides asking my host)?

Just wondering; what specifically does this have to do with PHP?

To be honest, it doesn't have much to do with php. I was looking for some answers on the web and found people talking about webalizer around here. Thought it might be worth a shot.
