You do realize that Cincinnati is the "parrothead capital" 🙂
Another local cultural oddity is Parrothead frenzy. Each year when singer Jimmy Buffett performs at Riverbend Music Center, the town becomes crazed and starts wearing bright flowered shirts, grass skirts and funky hats decorated with parrots, cheeseburgers, sharks, Margarita glasses, salt shakers and anything else associated with one of Buffett's songs. Cincinnati is where the singer began calling his fans Parrotheads, and the area is perversely proud of that fact.
