[Resolved] Timestamps + Time()

I was wondering if anyone can help me.

I am currently trying to create a timestamp for the current time. At the moment I am using time()

I know this is giving me a correct timestamp, however when I go to insert this in to my db it is not inserting any value. Although it will insert the dob timestamp I am passing.

I have echo'd my sql and this looks fine:

INSERT INTO user_detail (Name, Location, Email, DOB, Joined) VALUES ('Test User', 'Mars', '[e-mail]', '300409200', '1084526328')

I am using a Timestamp field in MySQL with a length of 10.

Anyone any ideas??

Because MySQL timestamps are a different format from everyone else's (this has been commented on here; the timestamps you're storing would be better off put into integer type fields.

Thanks Weedpacket, I could have swore I used timestamp fields before.

Then again I don't think I've fully woken up yet!
