downloading php files from my web server

Hi Guy, I'm new to all of this. I am running a search engine business and am trying to download my php files so that I can edit them. My problem is I don't know how to. Could someone please point me in the right direction.

I think it's about time I learn't to do this by myself, instead of paying hundreds of dollars to other people.

Any help would be appreciated.

You could use an ftp client like WS-FTP to download files from your server. You should already have a login and password since it's your server. Use those when your using the ftp client.
