I am not too sucessfully trying to create a dynamic table that will count the record number which I can do. create a specific number of table rows in reguard to the td cells that I want I.E. 4 across and popualate the td's with the data form a mysql data base.

so if I have 25 records and I want 4 cells across that will give me 6.25 rows or 5 full rows with 1 populated cell in the 6th. some of this can be controlled with a while and or a do loop but think I have been looking at tooooooo long.

does anyone have a solution to this with minimal code???
