Problem likely to be cookie or session.

I've been working on an application for a few months now, and people being able to login has never been a problem, but today I get a email saying everytime they log in, they get kicked back to login screen.

After searching on this site, I have come to the conclusion that maybe their cookies aren't working properly and the session information isn't being shared from the login page to the next, so they are constantly being kicked back to the login page.

I'm using 4.3.1 of PHP, is there an easy work around to fixing this? I read alot about compiling php with --enable-trans-sid options but I don't see an alternative binary download for people maybe not so clued up on compiling a distrubution version of php.

Any help or recommendations will be greatly recieved, i'm getting quite bogged down with this problem.

I don't think you've really given (or have obtained yourself) enough information to figure this one out.

Is this only affecting one person? Have they disabled cookies in their browser? If so, have them re-enable cookies. A requirement that cookies be enabled is pretty standard for sites that require a login.

Yes the problem is currently with one person, and the only machine I cannot check in-person. I have asked the user to follow some instructions which should check the cookies, and if they are enabled for the site.

Did post some other info but later I found out that --enable-trans-sid is compiled in all versions after 4.2.0
