Access html component arrays using php

Hi,

I have a form which containts several text fields with the same name. Plz tell me how to access this component array using php.

it's generally bad practice to have several fields with the same name, unless it's a radio button group or similar.

but, if you have to, then name the fields with a [] at the end - ie

<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="field[]" VALUE="field1">
<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="field[]" VALUE="field2">

then within the $_POST global will be an array $field containing values "field1", "field2" etc

Of course, you can compromise by using names like "field[0]", "field[1]", and so on, and then you'll have the same array;of course you then have the responsibility for making sure the names are all distinct.
