as stated in my previous post "AOL blocking mail() as spam", my shared server with pickaweb.co.uk that I pay 600 pounds a year ($1100) is on the aol spam black list and has been for over a month, and neither aol or pickaweb seem to care!! How frustrating!!!
I am creating a website where users will make listings, but before they can do so, they must register.
I had it set up so that an email was sent to the email address with a confirmation key (i.e. mysite.com/activate.php?key=483828). Obviously each key was unique to each user, etc etc.
Is there any other way of confirming users without emailing them?
Or is there someway I can make AOL think that my emails are coming from another source, and thus let the emails through?
Any creative thoughts would be very much appreciated.
