File uploading

Hi,
is it possible to create a progress bar, when doing eg file uploads? I've seen the forums at Macromedia has this when I want to upload fileattachments to the posts.

I know they use Cold Fusion, and I guess there are some JavaScript there.

Any Ideas how this is done ?
