what is the mso-special-format?

I have programmed a rich text editor. And some clients just copy his web page and paste it into my rich text editor.

It comes out with some mso-special-format etc. tags. And the rich text editor part works funny.

I think these "mso-special-format" coming from the page he copied. And it is not the standard html tags etc. that is causing the problem.

what is the mso-special-format? Is it from Microsoft FrontPage?

Thanks!

MSO stands for Microsoft Office. Microsoft, in its infinite wisdom, decided to throw a pile of nonstandard stuff into the HTML generated by Microsoft Office programs. The client is probably using Word.
