Conditional Lookup

I am a newbie to this and I want to get started with creating a new form to allow referees in my amatuer soccer league to enter match results.

Simply put, I want the user to enter a Match Number, and then have the details of that specific match number (looked up in my SQL database) outputted on the next page for the user to enter the results of this match.

Then this information is submitted as normal.

I think this is very simple, but like I said I'm relatively new and would like to be pointed in the right direction to get started.

Hi,
I have done a lot of research in the past year looking for a program that would run my club for me. I didn't find one BUT there are LOADS of them for SOCCER, lol. I'm sure if you do a search at Hotscripts or SourceForge you might just find one that already does what you are looking for.

Thanks for the info. I took a look at that site but didn't really see anything for the purpose that I'm looking for exactly. I'll keep looking.
