enable PHP file extension?

can you please allow file attachments using a PHP (or PHP3) extension? thanks I think it would be good for helping out others as well, and they dont have to rename to *.txt or s/t lol 🙂

Even if you do not enable the .php file extension, the .phps file extension should be enabled. That would help bigtime, no copy-pasting and such...

I just can't believe this has not been done before, unless they have a really, really good reason like maybe some weird security hole that I would not know about :p

Once again, I'm sure it's cuz they don't want to hack the vB code more than they have to... cuz they will be upgrading to vB3 as soon as it hits a stable release...

It's a setting not a hack. Don't need to touch the source code.

no need to patronize me, i know what it is...

and for them to allow the .php extension, they would need to mess with vB to allow the pages to accept the .php extension

and regardless if they did or not, i don't think they want to put time into it, until the new version of PHPB is up
