Description
I've recently started to look at the DOMXML extension and I have found it to be very useful. I have no problems to create a new XML file or read data from an existing one. So, why am I here? Well, yesterday I came up with a question that I haven't managed to find an answer to.
First, let us say that I have a XML file that contain this structure.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<friends>
<friend>
<name>Eric</name>
<email>eric@hotmail.com</email>
</friend>
<friend>
<name>James</name>
<email>james@hotmail.com</email>
</friend>
<friend>
<name>John</name>
<email>john@hotmail.com</email>
</friend>
</friends>
Question
As you probably know you might get tired of your email after a while and decide to change it. Let's say that James decide to change his email to 'james_new@hotmail.com'. Is it possible for me to open the XML file and change the email for James using the DOMXML functions?
Thanks in advance!
