Hello,

I've followed the step-by-step installation of EasyPHP 1.7. When I click on the EasyPHP icon and try to start Apache, I receive an error message telling me " The server cannot be started, another server uses the required port". I have no other server !

In the httpd configuration, it is said that the port to which my server listens is port 80 and I have desactivated my firewall.

Can someone help me?

I suggest you approach the EasyPHP people first for help.

Are you running Windows 2000 or Windows XP?

If you are, you could be potentially running IIS (Internet Information Services).

control panel-> add/remove programs -> add/remove windows components -> IIS (internet information services). Is it ticked? You can check the options by clicking on details and see if the WWW service is running.
