Image rotate around axis

I need to be able to rotate and image around an axis. Anybody have any code/libs to do this ?

I prosume ill need the GD lib installed for this ?

Thanks for that.. I dont have GD installed. Ive read that if I do ./configure --with-gd this will enable the GD lib.

Doing this will not cause any problems with my current PHP? ie I wont loose an config switches when i installed php (like --with-apx --with-sockets)
