HELP! my users cannon login...

I'm really new at php and I'm not sure what I did, but none of my users can login to their accounts on my site.

I use phpmyadmin & mysql. My hosting is through Yahoo. When someone wants to login and presses "submit" , it won't go to the next page. It just shows a blank page with the login URL still in the nav bar.

I've used Dreamweaver MX to setup user authentication to specific pages - requiring a password. But so far noone can get in. A cookie does get set, but the pages won't pull up!

Has anyone had issues like this before?

Yes. I'm 100% positive that every person here (except maybe Weedpacket) has had these problems in their former and not-so-former days as "newbies."

You might try posting the code to your page and somebody might have some ideas then...

I needed a 'tmp' subdirectory to hold my sessions. For some reason it wasn't there.

I do have a question concerning phpmyadmin - for those who use it.

I'm using some simple math functions with php in my pages. But I'm trying to make it so I don't get a number after the decimal points on any numbers from my database.

the phpmyadmin interface lets me change the Type to "Decimal, Double, etc...." but there is always a number after the decimal point.

Any ideas?
