I'm a little curious as to how to set a price on projects using PHP and mysql database. I need tips from people who have had experience.

Do you charge someone by the hour? Or for the project in one whole sum? Do you charge on how big the database and features it will have? and how?

Any tips would be appreciated.

For the jobs I've had in the past with Flash, I've charged by the job. The bigger, the more $$. I guess it would be the same for PHP/mySQL. The bigger the DB and the more PHP script, the more the kaching.
