Howto: Parse a mySQL query to type,table,fields and values

Hi Folks,

I've been searching for a while to discover a way to be able to check a query.

I would like to be able to indentify the TYPE (insert,update,delete,select), fields available in the query with the values going to be inserted in the field...

I believe it's possible to create this, but maybe some has solved be problem before, there's a function or code snippet...

Anyone any solutions?
