PHP email

i have a server set up on my computer, but not the resources to pay for a domain name. Is it possible/how can i set up an email server on this computer so that i can use the 'email' function in PHP. Otherwise, is it possible to use a 3rd party email such as [e-mail] or [e-mail]?

why not use your isp smtp mail server

i take it you on a windows machine

if so find your php.ini file in your system folder

and edit the send mail functions

add your isp smtp mail server and from address

[mail function]

SMTP = mail.domain.com ; for Win32 only

; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = [e-mail] ; for Win32 only
