I was just testing some webpages i made a while ago and one of them pictured a 'page not found' error. I checked and it was still there. After some testing the problem was a variable name in the url. My url stated something like this:

MyPage.php?postBack=1&pagId=158

Now the problem was the word postBack. Weird thing is if i cut off pagId it works, if i lower case the B of postBack it works.

So the problem seems to fire everytime there is more then on variable and there is a variable called postBack. Did anyone else had ever had a simillar problem? Is postBack a reserved word (wich i would understand perfectly) but then why does the problem only happen when there are 2 variables??

UPDATE:

Ok the error isn't tiggert when on the word postBack but if I have more then one variable? Does anyone know what is causing this error. I just moved from a Windows platform to a Linux server. And yes i know Linux is case sensetive and i checked the cases of the pages.

Ok, forget everything i said.

this is getting SO weird!!

I click on the link to myPage.php?postBack=2&pagId=145

i get the standard 'The page cannot be found' page. And guess what the script on myPage.php is executed!!!! Then why for the love of God does he say page could not be found. He doesn't just find the page he even executes the bloody script!!!!!

Does anyone know what's happening cause i'm going out of my mind!!!
