Add a page

Hi!

Does anyone know if there is a tutorial on how to make an editable page in php.

What I need is:

• A basic page.
• An adminpage where I can modify the basicpage.
• Would be perfect if, from the adminpage, could be a button to "add new page".

Is there a tutorial for this somewhere? I think this could be a great way to learn php better for newbies like me. 😃

I dont know any tutorials or source sites for that kidn of thing, but i know exactly what you want to achive.

I done the same for my website.

Basically i designed the site layout, and then had a database that contained all the articles.

The admin area, allowed me to view the articles, delete them, edit them, and add new articles to certain areas of the site.

Basically links were : index.php?page=foo

the variable foo tells you which table/content to display the user. For example if you were in the "Reviews" area, it would output all articles where the type is Reviews.

you can have php open a php file and load it into a textbox for editing then when you click submit you can have it re-write the php file, or samething with a database. You will want to look more into editing files.
