My host has MySQL 3.23.43- I recently tried to upgrade an open-source course management system (moodle.org) and somehow during the process my mysql.sock file was deleted- does anyone know what might possibly cause that to happen or where I might go for help- I've searched the Moodle support forums and it looks like a new issue- I'm wondering if it is unique to my host or configuration somehow. Any ideas are greatly appreciated-
