Pages not updating the data

I have a poll on my homepage. I am using windows 98 over a proxy but I have tried all my afforts to update the page as anyone cast the poll but what happened the the poll adds data in the database but the page is not showing the updated valuse. What should I do. If it is some problem with database or my proxy. I have tried deleting my histoy but that also dont helps. Any suggesting please...

Do you free up the MySQL result at the end of your display code? That might help. What happens when you click on reload?

I point which I came to remember from your post is that I am not using exit(); at the end of my page. Is it necessory. And where to put this exit();... I have only connected to my databse onec. If I connect to my database more than one then if I need to put exit(); as many times as tha conncet.... Thanks for reply

You don't need to use exit(), unless you want to terminate the page early.

How about some sample code and a URL so we can try it.

On this page I have a contest for guess numbers and a poll. The poll is the simpoll from HotScripts.com and the guessing script is my own. Another thing that my page takes too long to open. I want it to load the page elements one by one but it opens it when every thing has been loaded. Is it some problem with include() as i have included every thing to a main templat. The left navigation panel, the right navigation panel. the header, the footer and also the poll and the guess script.... Thanks for your help.....
