Beginner question about installing

I just installed IIS with WinXP on my laptop. I work off my laptop and I would like to be able to test php pages in my "inetpub/wwwroot" folder.

I imagine that I need to install PHP on my laptop. I've never done this sort of thing before and am wondering if I can install PHP on my laptop. If so, what is the first step I should take in installing PHP and the libraries?

There's nothing different between installing it on a desktop/laptop/server. Should be instaleld the same way you've applied everywhere else.
