Php telling a site to use flash or not

Hello i'm completely new to php and i have a question if someone is up to helping a newb 🙂.

i have a website where my client wants to have a flash site and HTML site both are completely the same except one has flash the other doesn't.

i figured there should be a way to set a cookie to have each page check the cookie then load flash if true or not if false.

any of the pro's up to helping a newb out? =)

It would easier to do this using client-side scripting (i.e. javascript). PHP can't determine whether or not a browser has a particular plug-in, so you're going to have to use javascript for that, might as well go ahead and set the cookie there or check for the cookie before running the script.
