Loading page

I have created my system where there are tabs across the top of the page. Unfortunately on first loading the page some of these graphic backgrounds to the text appear to be missing... I have checked the obvious - size of graphics etc..

To help diagnose - If I minimize the page and then maximize again then all graphics are fine...

It seems like something obvious - but unfortunately I do not know what to do next....

do you preload the images? if not how about trying that... there some javascript that can preload the images in the header to help load the images

Try viewing this tutorial and see if that will help you with preloading images.

if that no good, then try searing google "prelaoding html images" and it will bring up 100's of results.🆒

Also, if you have fireworks you can create the images in fireworks, export them as images files (when exporting be sure to export the imaged AND html) then open the exported html and insert the html into the website. Fireworks automatically writes the preload using javascript and all that. If you dont have fireworks, you can downlaod a trial version from macromedia.com
