No idea how to do this

Hello,

I need to open up a website, and take some information so I can put it on my website. I tried using the php command "include", but it put in too much html that I didnt need. Is it possible to just take a table from the webpage while snipping away all the other code that I dont need?

Ask the website owner that your "borrowing" code from to change thier layout. Highly unlikely though.

Other than that, dunno. I am curious to see if there is a way though.

First things first, has the owner of this site allowed you to take this information. You can get in trouble nicking stuff off people's sites. If he has then you need to look into the fopen funtion and it's siblings and then disect the code int your script and pick out what you need.

You could use the strip_tags() function to remove some code. I did that on page were i had to remove the html head, but you must be careful, since you cannot tell it to remove onlye one of fex 2 tables, it remove all tables (therefore called strip)! Hope it helpes
