1,2,3,4,... Creating a page numbering script?

Ok, i have a script that I am writing, and I have over 100 items on the site and growing, what I want to do it make it so that 10 will show on each page, then it will have links to 1,2,3,4,5,6,... at the bottom, I already have it displaying all on one page, but I am not sur ehow to do the mutliple pages section i have never done that before. Can anyone show me a script that I can work off of or try to explain it to me. Thanks in advanced.

what you are looking for is called 'pagination'

there are many scripts out there on the net, even this forum which show how to use pagination

I use PEAR's Pager class for pagination and it's really easy.
