require_once performance

I am currently making an OO php site that has around five require_once calls on each page to include all of the required classes etc...

Is this going to be a big performance hit? The class files arent huge, they are all < 300 lines long.

Nope. 5 includes is nothing.

I am interested how many includes some of you other php coders have in your scripts?

I'm looking at a file right now that has eighteen instances of include_once(); of course, most of those are local to functions, and are only used if the function is called (and even then only if that function needs the functionality in those includes for that particular call).
