I don't get why but sometimes on first load of my site, all links have the PHPSESSID variable attached to it. What is causing this?
are you using sessions in any of your includes, etc?
Yes, in a file called conf.php, that I include in index.php, has session_start() in the beginning.
ummm... you do know that SESSIONS have ids, just like cookies, and unless you put on transparent sessions, it will ALWAYS show in the url right ?
I know that sessions have id's, PHPSESSID is the default variable that stores it right? Anyways, why is it attaching itself to my urls? I mean I do have other scripts that use sessions and it nevers attaches it self. Is it because of the includes?
its all in ur php.ini settings
I think if cookies are disabled the only way for it to keep the SESSID from page to page is to include it in the links, or a hidden field.
Could it be because ob_start() is called before session_start()?
