Single quotes in SQL

Hi,

We are having some issues when trying to insert a value into a SQL (oracle) database that contains a single quote.

Are there any functions that will accomodate this? Magic quotes is already turned on, but just puts a slash in front of the quote, which still causes the value to bail on insert.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Oracle accepts the format

insert into myTable (name) values('O''Conner');

you can probably use something like str_replace to change all single quotes within your strings to doubles as you add them to your sql statement.
