Oracle and PHP

Hi there,

I tried "oci_connect("scott", "tiger", $db);"

but i'm getting the Following error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: oci_connect()

Most likely, your PHP was not built with Oracle support. Create a .php page with just this:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

to confirm that Oracle support is not compiled in.

If that is the case, you'll need to have your administrator recompile PHP with support for Oracle.

Well the PHP is built with Oracle support. Th Oracle support is compiled in while viewing the phpinfo.php page

What version of PHP are you using? I'm pretty sure oci_connect() is new in PHP5. Read the note on the php.net documentation for the function.
