my mail() code worked before, but now on new host...

my mail() code worked before, but now on new host the html portion does not display properly. I get all the headers, the text portion and the html portion all as a text message.

I changed my hosts (new host php 4.3.4) and assume it becuase they use different x-mailer or PHP versions. Where do I look first? Can I assume there is some slight change in header syntax that is required?

Firstly it can be a number of things PHP version would be my first check to do this

phpinfo();

Id check the version, and SMTP settings. Id also play around with your script as well to see if it can work an alternate way. Then if all fails email it to your host
