open_basedir problem

I've just got an off-the-shelf script to upload and resize images, but as I guessed, it falls foul of my host's open_basedir security.

I think that I'll need to specify the absolute path to my webspace somewhere, but I can't see what needs changing, so I wonder if someone could have a look please?
