Too many frameworks, help!

I am looking for an application building framework and ended up with a list of 30. Looks like everybody is writing one for show-and-tell these days.

At the same time, I cannot find any decent comparisons.

Could someone please post a list of say 5 frameworks that have a good future?

wow you lucky, you actually found more then 3, when I first began php a year ago, thats all I could find and I ended up writing my own later on. If you say there are 20, first think about what you want to accomplish and what kind of classes you need, for ex, some has extensive emailing classes, while others may have extensive interface and form classes, once you decide on this, then it will narrow it down, once you have done that, it is time to see which you are more acustomed to, which one is similar to you coding techniques, and then that will end up being the one for you.

I have to develop a serious business application. I want it to be easy to maintain and extend. I want to be able to separate logic from presentation (possibly MVC, but at least Smarty or so) and all the rest: user registration, workflow, accounting etc etc.

Or am I asking for too much? I thought phrame, placebo, ampoliros, horde and php.mvc looked OK, but there are just so many others (binarycloud, eocene, fusebox, mojavi, netuse, pehppy, pat, merlin/p4a, ariadne etc etc)...
