Well first off I would like to meantion that this question is in no way related to spam or spamming.
With that over and done with I'll get down to what I was originally posting about. A client of ours needs a newsletter to go out monthly to around 6000 clients. Now the problem is not the coding of the script to output the email, but the actual volume of the email since each email has embedded about 150kb worth of images. Yes I know 150kb is a hefty email but these guys are heaps strict on protocol and how their newsletter and site looks. The worst part is that they want the images embedded into the file so that clients who are on the road can download their email and view it later when there is no net.
So back to my question, the total amount of data being sent to my mail server is about 880Mb, will mail cope with that sort of processing ? I'm thinking of doing it in batches of 1000.
Thanks
