Login page

Hi! I did a login page, but I need to restrict all the pages that conform an aplication. The users have to login to enter to the site. Now If I know the url I can have access to all the pages that I want and I want that if the user doesn't login i the first page, the user doesn't have access to the rest of the pages. Could u help me???? Someone tell me that I have to use cookies or sessions, but I don't know. Thanks

I read only one page because the other doesn't exists. In the page http://www.zend.com/zend/tut/authentication.php , explains how to do a login page, but I don't need that. I have one page that do that. I need that the access of some pages are validated from the login page. If a user login have access to all the pages, but if the user doesn't login, the user can't have access to any page, although the user knows the url address. If the user use the url address to jump the login page, the user isn't going to access to the page, and is going to be relocate to the login page. But i don't how to do that, how to tell to each page, that if the user isn't login redirect to the login page. Someone told me that I have to use cookies or sessions, but I don't know how. Can somebody help me????🙁

The reason I pointed you to tutorials is that you didn't provide us with enough info to directly answer your question. For example, you said you have a login page, what type of authentication does it use?

If you use PHP authentication as outlined in the zend tutorial, you need to include the code at the top of every page you want protected. It checks to see if the user has authenticated, and if they have not, prompts them to enter their username/pwd.

I am not sure why the hotscripts link did not work for you - did you click the link to open it or cut & paste it? If you did a cut and paste, it will not work because the bb truncates the link text. You need to click it.

If you are just looking for some code to cut & paste, post your login page code and I will provide it for you. But you are much better off to follow one of the tutorials and learn about the code you are putting into your pages....
