Publishing my web database

Hi,
I have finished a search database using php, mysql and apache server in the local network of my organization, the users are my colleagues and they enter by typing my computers name. My organization has a server in where I have acces to modify the web page, I want to make a link to my search database, so that everyone can acces it from the internet. I have tried with my public domain but it doesnt work, maybe because I am behind the main server. I have uploaded all my php files to the server but it doesnt work because it doesnt have mysql and apache installed.

How can I make a link to my computer from the organizations webpage?

Because I was thinking that I already have a server on my computer. And by uploading all the php and html files to the server is possible but the connections wouldnt work.

You'll want to talk to your IS/IT or the computer guy at where you work. Without knowing all the network details, I'd say there's probably a couple Internet gadgets on your company's network which direct traffic to and from the Internet. Your network folks would have to determine the security issues and configure their network gear to allow traffic to come in and go to your computer.

Typically, if you have a web site that is to be hosted at a company, but be accessible to the outside Internet, then you will need a DMZ to put that computer in (and pull all non-essential info out of it). Your network guys should be able to figure out where things need to go to make it work...
