I want to add my programs as a system service in windows 2000 profesional is it possible if it is how?(But not using programs like fire daemon because its professional version is coming if you pay money)
any idea?
no suggestion?
Not sure how, but I'm pretty sure it will involve some sort of registry hack.
Take a look at this page, which tells how to run bulletproof ftp server as a service.
Perhaps you could modify it so it will run your software.
There used to be a program SRVANY that came with the NT Resource Kit, I don't know if it's still available. There are many cautions against running VB programs as a service but I don't have any first hand experience.
I downloaded and installed succesfully srnavy but i dont know how to use it and i couldnt see its service making options does anyone know how to use it?
