Google Yourself

A lot of us spending a lot of our time on the web, it's amazing what you'll find when you google for yourself. Does anyone else do this?

Any spelling mistakes can be blamed on the wine, not me 😃

about three years ago i did a little webzine where each month i talked about a different me (as a marketing gimmick to media agencies)...i share the same as...

russian cat food
scientific processes
wax museum in latvia
swedish handbags
sanskrit cooking method
laundry soap (nature friendly too)
i don't have proof, but i believe Sony might have had a product in development at one time that bore the same name (but i haven't seen any tracks about this for years now)
nyc media agency (who invented the ATM advertising concept)
brazilian tire rims company

All I get is pages and pages of different sites selling "the book".

Kinda sad that one of my domain names (which is my name) doesn't even show up......maybe I need to actually put something worthwile up instead of the "check back later" crap I've had up there for years.

A lot of what comes up under my name is, well, ....me

Posts to the FreeBSD mailing lists, my site, my wife's singing group's site, etc.

Of course the fun stuff, as someone said above, are the people who aren't me but have my name.

Every once in a while I think it'd be fun to be one of them ... track stars (LOL, well, High School track stars, perhaps) jet pilot ...

I guess I never grew up :rolleyes: 😃

Not intended as threadjacking....

It's always fun to use the names of people you used to know, went to school with, etc...., and not just look them up on Google, but also in Amazon (Wish List). It's rather interesting to look at what other people want and find interesting.

dalecosp, funny you should say that - while watching Forensic Files the other night, one of the murder suspects had your name... and of course I chuckled.

when i searched "drag0n" i came up with my site as 15th position, the site is nothing no links to it, no nothing, i cant wait till google respiders i wanna get first for "drag0n"

That is a tad strange. Good thing I'm not on the east coast, I guess.
