Expired POSTDATA problem while using session in PHP

Hi all,

I've set up security and navigation using sessions. Whenever a user
hits the back button, a warning about expired POSTDATA appears in
Moziilla or "Warning: Page has Expired" in IE and NetScape.

This has become a bit of a problem. How should I go about fixing it?

Ideally, you'd rather have the user click a link or back button on your site instead of using the browser's back button.

If the browser is expiring the Post data, you could use Get instead in your forms, but if you're already using Post you probably don't want the user to reload the page (multiple inserts/queries to db possibly) anyway, do you?

Thanks for mtimdog's kindly reply.
My problem right now is I using this page for checking user name and passwd, so for security reasion, I can't using Get instead of POST in the form. (In next page, these are
some links for users to go to different pages,
the users always want to back to this page to
using these links).
Also, I can't simple prevent users using the back browser's back button. This is not a nice way of programming to the users.
So, what's the further suggestions?

there is nothing programmatically you can do to prevent this. it's a browser issue.

After the user is authenticated, you could do a php or js redirect (with no post data).
