problem creating poll using mysql

your variable $poll_id is empty. try filling in a number for it.

how do i do that can you explain please?

so you probably have a query like:
"SELECT FROM whatever WHERE poll_id={$poll_id} AND voteip='127.0.0.1'"
which, with a empty $poll_id results in
"SELECT FROM whatever WHERE poll_id= AND voteip='127.0.0.1'"
which isn't a valid query...

how do i not make poll_id empty any more?
