can't get my headers and footers working with my image :(

any ideas

i have this code

but only can see the graph for making my online poll and can't see any of the header or footer files, wondered if you could help

and yes i am sorry for posting it in more than one area. just i wanted a quick reply - i won't do this again promise. 🙁

oh and the headers and footers one is resolved thanks just having problems with sessions at the moment 🙁

incase any of you would like to help, i know some of you probably won't now 🙁 but

in my directory have a main folder with all files in it.
and have a sub directory called (poll)

on my homepage i have links to pages

			<a href="forum.php">Forum</a><br />
			<a href="guestbook2.php">Guestbook</a><br />
			<a href="view_users.php">Members</a><br />
			<a href="poll/vote.php">Poll</a><br />

but by putting the poll/vote in it to get that working it messes the rest of the links up its ok by clicking of them all once but after the first time it goes for example like this http://localhost/shopbots/poll/view_users.php
when should be
http://localhost/shopbots/view_users.php

can someone please explain this to me? or tell me what im doing wrong.

if your vote page is the only page in /poll/ then simply reference all your HREFS with ../ infront of them... or by full site name...
www.yourhost.com/yourpage.php

or i think you can do ./file.php to get the same affect... If i recall rightly, ./file.ext means document_root/file.ext... but I could be wrong on that (I'm not a big HTML person)

cheers thanks, ive hard coded the links in and they work now. 🙂

im a bit confused with sessions though

should i put start_session(); on every page including my index.php page which is my homepage.

im confused because a user can log into the site and then i want them to be able to fill out a guestbook, and fill out the poll so should i include session_start on those pages.

if you could explain please.
