Getting all the dates in a week

Hi, I've been struggling with this for a few days now 🙁 , so if someone has a solution for this please let me know. Here is the problem: i have to get all the dates in a particular week, this is how i am doing it-->
while($stDay <= $edDay) {
$tblStr .="<td>".$stDay."</td>";
$stDay++;
}

Where $stDay is the start of the week say 19 and $edDay is the end of the week say 25, but i know its not going to work for when the week starts from say 27 and ends on 2 of the next month. i know there are some calendar functions that make it easy to do stuff like this, so if anyone know of any simple solution to this kindly let me know.

date(t); will give you the last day (28 - 31) of a given month, I would start there.

I came up with this, but doesnt work.

once you have your start date, you can just add one to the day parameter...........

$weekDate = getDate(mktime(0, 0, 0,$mon, $day+1, $year));

$weekDate = getDate(mktime(0, 0, 0,$mon, $day+6, $year));

if the week is june 28 - july 4, its not going to work, or suppose from 27 dec 2004 - 2 jan 2005.

mktime() is useful for doing date arithmetic and validation, as it will automatically calculate the correct value for out-of-range input. For example, each of the following lines produces the string "Jan-01-1998". Example 1. mktime() example
