Okay here's the short story...I'm 14 and there is a local baseball/softball/soccer league called FAAA(florissant area atletic assosiation) http://www.faaasports.com okay well I my dad is a VP there and he asked me since I know lil bit of this and lil bit of that, to create a script that will interpret a Microsoft Access Database with a team's roster and then have a page that looks like a roster, except with dropdown boxes.
Like so.
Batting Order | Players Name | 1st Inning | etc.
01 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
02 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
03 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
04 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
05 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
06 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
07 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
08 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
09 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
10 ----------- |___|| ----- |||
|______|| = dropdown boxes
Okay well thats simple I just have 15 names in MS Access and variables $player1 thorugh $player15 and have them as the options for the forms. Simple....
Well my problem is that I want it to be where if I select Bob for batter # 1...I want him to be removed from the list so he cannot be picked for batter 2 and so on. I need the same thing for each of the innings(except with positions and not names).
Any one have any clues, tips, or ANYTHING?
Any feedback would be appreciated!
