I just recently set up database replication with the master-slave concept. That's where the master is the one that has all inserts and updates and the slave just listens to everything that goes on. If an update or insert is made to the slave, it is not reflected on the master. I'm sure many of you are quite familiar with this.
What I'd really like to do now is set up two-way replication, so that both servers act as a master and slave. This way, any update or insert statement made to one is replicated to the other regardless. As it is now, with one-way replication, only updates/inserts made to the master get replicated.
How would I go about setting up two-way replication? And are there any potential problems that this would cause?
Thanks for the insight,
Mark
